Old School Workouts are New Again

Call me crazy but my workouts have gone old school.  It all started when I stumbled across a Tamilee Webb Buns of Steel 3 tape from 1991.  I remember how this video was all the rage back then and did a lot for a rear that was well, less than firm.  Prepared for a  blast from the past that would be more pain than pleasure, I pushed the VHS tape into my VCR and waited.  Simple set, simple music, just Tamilee and me lunging, squatting and toning for 40 minutes.  What surprised me, was that I was enjoying this.  Tamilee's rock hard body motivated me to push harder and make it through each exhausting set.  She was awakening my body in places that had long been asleep.  This 1991 workout was exactly what I needed in 2010!  I now realize that a great workout is a great workout even 20 years later!  Inspired, I called a friend and asked her if she had any old exercise videos.  She did and quickly supplied me with Abs of Steel 1991,  Arms and Abs of Steel 1992 and Arms and Abs of Steel 2000 which features a young Donna Richardson and Tracy York.  These old videos are great even if you have a membership to a top fitness facility.  I use them as an exercise option when the gym is closed or the weather won't allow me to get moving outdoors.
It's hard to believe, but the moves these instructors were teaching back then are still relevant today.  Best of all, my body is responding.  After just two weeks, I've noticed a significant difference.  My waist is slimmer, my abdominal area is tighter and yes, my buns are firmer.  Even though I don't have buns of steel yet, with these old school videos, I'm on my way.
Tamilee Webb is currently converting her classic VHS videos into DVD versions.  To see what else she's doing now, click here:   http://tamileewebb.com/?gclid=CL6Mi5WXy6UCFcbd4AodYCvClA
